Douglas Licensing (NW) was established in 2010 by Paul Douglas (Managing Director). Paul was a police officer for 33 years and for the second half of this period concentrated on alcohol related crime and enforcement issues

An acknowledged expert nationally, Paul who holds a personal licence, has trained police forces and local authorities on behalf of the Home Office. He has addressed licensing seminars and has sat on licensing steering groups at the Home Office. For three consecutive years he addressed the annual conference of the Institute of Licensing. A qualified trainer, Paul has conducted training sessions at Burnley College for students wishing to obtain the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders to enable them to obtain a personal licence.
